Band Members!

Updated: Feb 7

In THRYK, names aren’t just identifiers—they’re frequencies, archetypes, and coded intentions. Each member carries a moniker that resonates with the band’s ethos: analog rebellion, cosmic precision, and emotional circuitry. From the vocal pulse of Moog to the spectral elegance of Rockmore, these names are chosen not by chance, but by alignment—numerological, historical, and symbolic.

This post decodes the origins and meanings behind each name, revealing the influences that shaped them: pioneers of electronic sound, forgotten innovators, and the planetary forces that guide THRYK’s creative orbit.

Thryk, the new sensation on techno and industrial rock music.

MOOG

The vocalist, guitarist, and leader of the band. He is primarily responsible for the lyrics and songwriting. His stage name is inspired by Bob Moog, the engineer and inventor of the Moog Synthesizer, a fundamental piece in the history of electronic music.

ROCKMORE

The band's keyboardist. She is responsible for arranging the songs using the synthesizer, creating effects such as industrial and machine sounds. Her stage name is inspired by Clara Rockmore, a renowned virtuoso of the Theremin, one of the first electronic instruments.

NEIL

The band's drummer. He is responsible for keeping the rhythm of the songs. His stage name is inspired by Neil Pert, the iconic drummer of the Canadian band Rush, and one of the greatest drummers in rock history.
